Congratulations to the Yellville-Summit Track & Field teams who competed in the 2A State Track Meet on Tuesday, May 3 at Quitman High School.  The girls team is the back-to-back 2022 Class 2A Girls Track & Field State Champion.  The boys team is the 2022 2A Boys Track & Field State Runner-up.  Tyler Barrett is the 2022 2A Shot Put State Champion, throwing a distance of 47'5".  Lucas McVay is the 2022 2A Pole Vault State Champion, clearing 12'6".  Jacey Davenport, Kaylee Martin, KJ Moore, and Abby Methvin, who made up the 4 x 400 relay team, are the 2022 2A 4x400 Relay State Champions, securing the title of back-to-back champions in their event.
