Special Education

The Yellville-Summit Special Education Department is an integral part of the total education system. It is the mission of the department to provide the highest quality educational program in a safe and positive learning environment through which all children become responsible, productive citizens and life-long learners, equipped to make intelligent choices today and tomorrow. 

Individuals with disabilities are valued in the Yellville-Summit School District and we actively promote and encourage inclusion of all students in the least restrictive environment. We strive to assure access and opportunities for each student as a part of our community which recognizes the value of individuality.
