This is a year-long course that explores choral music from a wide variety of cultures and time periods through study and performance. The core curriculum emphasizes the basics of vocal technique, sight-reading, music theory, and music history.  Each year in choir counts as an academic credit. Yellville-Summit Choir activities include performances at football and basketball games, Turkey Trot, the state capitol, winter and spring concerts, and graduation exercises.
